My 5-year tenure on the Board has been filled with numerous district accomplishments that I am incredibly proud of. Some of the highlights include:

  • Successfully navigated the district through the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining highly ranked academic student success

  • Supported student needs and maintained quality services without placing new levies on the ballot

  • Approved Mr. Berdine's 5-year financial forecast that projects a $25.1 million reserve by 2029 with no new operating levies needed

  • Revere High School is ranked among the top 5% of public high schools in Ohio

  • Earned an overall 5-star rating on Ohio's report card, placing us #2 in the county and in the top 5% statewide

  • The district's Performance Index increased from 101.2 in 2021 to 104.6 in 2024, demonstrating consistent academic growth

  • Maintained robust extracurricular programs with notable achievements in performing arts, academic and service clubs including academic challenge, and student leadership

  • Continued strong partnership with the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center to offer students valuable career and technical education, emphasizing the importance of exposing students to various career path opportunities

  • Celebrated numerous athletic achievements across a wide range of teams and individual student-athletes

  • Invited community members, students, and staff to collaborate on developing our Strategic Plan, which emphasizes community engagement as a key priority

  • Hired a 2nd School Resource Officer to protect our students and staff

  • Installed numerous security enhancements, including building check-in systems, upgraded cameras, and protective window film

  • Implemented a five-year technology initiative to modernize district infrastructure, including the replacement of 1,500 iPads, upgraded Wi-Fi and bandwidth, and facility-wide tech enhancements

  • Expanded and strengthened student services by adding intervention specialists, counseling support, and teletherapy partnerships to better serve student needs

  • Hired and collaborated with our current Food Services Supervisor to move the department into the black and begin generating profitability

  • Continued to be one of the few local districts to maintain a plentiful staff of school bus drivers during a challenging hiring period

  • Successfully negotiated 2 contracts with the Revere Education Association (REA) and the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE)

Upon re-election, I am excited to continue guiding our district forward in a way that fosters positive growth, all while preserving the rich history and values that make Revere unique.

A vote for me is a vote for continued progress, consistency, continuity of leadership, institutional knowledge, accessibility, authenticity, and dedication to the success of every student in our district across all areas.
